The all new music of "Ashes Reveal Ghosts" features some of Australia's most forward thinking musicians. This is a 'dark look at light' with elements of improvisation, techno, electronica, and through composition. This music is transmutative and disruptive with gentle ambient waves, analogue synth pads, sub bass howling and solar eclipse songs. A dream, a journey.

"The shadow is 90% pure gold" - Carl Jung

Barney McAll - Synth, Piano
Scott McConnachie - Tenor Sax
Theo Carbo- Guitar
Chris Hale - Bass
Felix Bloxsom - Drums

Grammy Nominated, ARIA winning pianist and composer Barney McAll has played on over 100 recordings and has released 15 highly acclaimed solo albums. Having worked with many of the world's best musicians including; Gary Bartz, Dewey Redman, Sia, Vernel Fournier, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jimmy Cobb, Clyde Stubblefield and Fred Wesley, Barney will bring a wealth of knowledge and imagination to the table of youth.

Playing newly composed music written as a result of being alive in 2019 and attempting to stay awake.

"McAll is partial to unleashing surprises himself, whether they be radical dynamic shifts - such as suddenly reducing a solo to the merest trickle of notes against thrumming bass and whispered cymbal chatter - or just finding bewitchingly unexpected turns to take in developing a melody. Masterful." - The Sydney Morning Herald
