"There's something undeniably captivating about the music of Abbey Stone." - Happy Mag

It is finally here! The long-awaited third EP from Melbourne singer/songwriter Abbey Stone titled BADLADY is out now. The EP features singles, 'BADLADY,' 'Say Anything' and the latest hit, 'Flowers'. A complete 360 of her second EP, 'Complete' (2018), Stone celebrates confidence and strength of the everyday woman, most notably in her title track, 'BADLADY'.

"It's not only about picking yourself up when you have had a bad day, but it is more about those bad days as well."

The record also talks about mental health, a new element to Stone's music as this is the first time that she discusses her experience with anxiety. 'Say Anything' touches on this subject as Stone's raw and honest lyrics are a true expression of her writing process upon production. Her third single, Flowers explores this further as she writes about love, hurt and sadness.

Ultimately, the record is a true example of Stone's growth, courage and freedom in what was a 12 month writing process.

To celebrate the release of BADLADY, Abbey Stone will grace the Birds Basement stage with Sean Hutton and Claude Carranza on Friday, March 27.
