Bird's Basement in a Riff

Bird's Basement is a Jazz Club with a combined restaurant and bar. Our best views and reserved for dining-priority tickets. All tickets holders are able to order dinner and drinks from their table from 6pm. Doors open at 6pm and close at 7:30pm for early shows. Some artists perform separate early and late shows which are presented on the upcoming shows our website.

Whether taking the tram, train, bus or car, we have details below to get you here on time.

By Car

Multiple parking options are a short walk to our Singers Lane entrance, including: 

 

By Taxi

Request the Taxi drop you at the corner of La Trobe and Singers Lane. You will see the glow of our entrance from the road on the cobbled laneway.

By Tram

Locate a tram that runs the length of La Trobe or William Street and hop off on the corner. Our entrance is tucked around the back of the building.

By Train

Catch the train to Flagstaff station. When you get to street level, walk down La Trobe Street away from the Flagstaff Park and find the Singers Lane cobbled laneway on your left. 

By Bus

Locate a bus that runs the length of La Trobe or William Street and hop off on the corner. Our entrance is tucked around the back of the building.
