Emma Pask is an award-winning jazz vocalist with a unique voice and style. She was discovered by James Morrison at 16 and toured with him for 20 years. Emma has performed for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban and supported George Benson in Australia. She is collaborating with The B # Big Band for a show at Birds Basement, featuring classic tunes redeveloped for the big band.
 
Jemma Cher, a Melbourne-based Vocalist brings maturity, sophistication and innate competence to a performance. At 23 years old she carries many years of stage experience which has shaped the artist she is today. Jemma won the 2014 ‘Sing Loud’ competition under the auspices of Reconciliation Australia, selected by Delta Goodrem and Gurrumul opening her young eyes to the ways in which music unites people and can effect change. Subsequently, Jemma has appeared in over three hundred lead solo performances, achieving four Performing Arts scholarships, multiple first place postings in local competitions and eisteddfods and was a semi-finalist in the Rob Guest Endowment award at just 17 years old. Jemma’s large vocal range, her effortless tone and deep control bring something special to Jazz, Gospel and R&B repertoires.

Fans of Big Band Swing music can expect a fabulous taste of tunes made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O’Day, Eydie Gormé, Julie London plus other big names from the original & recent swing era. Expect an inspiring musical taste of what made the original swing era and genre of music so captivating, and now again!
